English Arabic Influenced by Many

Actually a lot of English words which absorbs the Arabic language. We see some of them:

Admiral
    أمير Amir, commander. Amir al-Bihar = leader at sea. The word was adapted by the French to "Amiral". Then absorbed into the English language by adding the consonant "d" become admiral.

alchemy, chemistry
    الكيمياء al-Kimiya, alchemy. It is used by the peoples of Europe around the 16th century.

alcohol
    الكحل al-kohl. These words into the Latin language in the 13th century.

algebra
    الجبر al-jabr. Mathematical terms contained in the book "al-Kitab al-Mukhtasar reckoning fi al-jabr wa al-Muqabala", or the translation of "The Compendious Book on Calculation by Completing and Balancing". Books written by Arab mathematician al-Khwarizmi in the 9th century.

algorithm, algorism
    الخوارزمي al-Khwarizmi. Just as the term "algebra / algebra", is also popular thanks to al-Khwarizmi (Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi). This word is absorbed into the Latin language to be "Algorismi".

arsenal
    دار الصناعة Dār as-Sina ʿ a. Ibn Khaldoun citing orders from the Caliph in Tunis Abdalmelic to build Dar Sina ʿ the construction of everything that is needed for equipment and weaponry. The word was spread to Italy in the 14th century, which means the armory.

candy
    قندي qandī. Arabs called it the Persian qand, meaning "cane (sugar)". The word is finally accepted by all European nations and lead to the use for "candy / sweets / sugary food"

coffee, café
    قهوة qahwa, coffee. Turks do not recognize the letter "W" to be changed using the letter "V" and the mention of "coffee" was accepted by the Europeans.

guitar
    قيتارة qītāra. Although many opinion mentions the word "guitar" comes from the Spanish "guitarra", but we know that the Arabs had dominion in Spain, and the word means "Arabic qitar".

jar
    جرة Jarra. Was first recorded use in England in the years 1418 and 1421 which meant the place of storage of olive oil. In its development, Jarra or jar (jars, ind.) A place to store all kinds of snacks.

lemon
    ليمون lemonade, (1) lemon. These words introduced the Arabs in the Middle Ages. The Greeks and the Romans over the word "citron", so that the Arab nations that made the word "lemon" popular and accepted the Europeans.

orange
    نارنج nāranj. Similarly, the word "orange". Although citrus trees (orange) are from India, but the Arabs who pass it on to the Mediterranean region in the 10th century.

sofa
    صفة soffa. This word was adopted by the Turks and then into Western Europe about 16 centuries.

There are many other absorbing Arabic into English, is estimated at more than 200 words.
